Game Journalism Day 1 -BEGIN

Game Journalism Day 1 -BEGIN

Question 1: What is the challenge?

The challenge is Hopeless Rescue. The objective is to retrieve a Distress Pistol from the summit of Timberwolf Mountain and fire it from the top of the Desolation Point Lighthouse.

Question 2: What did you do today?

The first thing I did was look around the cabin you start of in and I picked up all the supplies I could find.

I then checked out all tabs of the inventory.

Status - Shows temperature, tiredness, hunger, thirst, condition, and afflictions.

Backpack - Shows items currently being carried.

Crafting - Allows crafting of items

Journal - Shows mission objectives, skills, letters, journal, and statistics

Map - Shows map (I had no locations discovered at the time of screenshotting.)

I then walked outside, became cold, and found a deer corpse in a shack, which I looted. (I forgot to take a screenshot before harvesting the deer.)

I also placed a snare at the entrance of shack.

I ran back to the cabin and lit a fire to warm myself up.

I ate the deer meat, but I ended up contracting food poisoning.

I went to sleep afterwards and cured my food poisoning.

Afterwards, I found out how to melt snow and made water, but my fire ran out before I could boil it. I drank and unfortunately got dysentery.

My condition also got very low and I started moving all over the place, so I went to sleep and stopped playing for the day.
